OPTIMUM
HEALTH CHICAGO supports and assists individuals and groups in obtaining
their goal of optimum health. We do this through workshops, retreats,
corporate and group presentations, lectures, medical school and hospital
presentations, and some individual consultations. Dr. Gates also sees orthopedic patients in his office.
In
Search of...Our main workshops are entitled "In Search of Optimum Health" and "Healthy Aging." We took the concepts of optimum health from Dr. Andrew Weil's book, "Eight Weeks..." updated them, and processed them into a workshop format. It is an interactive workshop, covering all aspects of reaching a goal of optimum health. It consists of cooking health food, didactic lectures, discussions, toxin elimination, group interactions, exercises, and mental and spiritual exercises.
